Apologies for no video yesterevening. After watching Sportscenter long enough to find that the Cubs lost ($%^&), I clocked-out and hit the hay.
Woke up feeling extremely fantastic. But also relieved to know that it's all finally over, and now I can resume normal living.
The only stats I have to report are 1) lost 9 pounds in 7 days, and 2) I took a blood pressure reading last night of 122/71. I'm disappointed in my systolic. I assumed it'd be a lot lower than that having taken on something like the Master Cleanse. However, I am keeping in mind that this was taken immediately after some brisk walking, and perhaps I just hadn't settled down enough yet.
All-in-all, I'm really glad I've done this, even though my experience didn't at all mirror the reported experiences of most who've done the Master Cleanse themselves. If nothing else, maybe I've learned a little something in the way of discipline?
Last night, while in town, I overheard somebody say, "Ugh! I'm sooo starving. I haven't eaten anything ALL DAY."
I didn't chime-in. Whoever they are, I'm sure they lived.

Tonight, I'm headed up to Indy to watch the North Mississippi Allstars at The Vogue. I won free tickets - score. Taking my lovely friend Erin, who is a big NMAs fan.
And tomorrow... Owen and I are heading back up to Indy for Carb Day to catch Stone Temple Pilots! I can't wait. They've been a huge influence on me over the years. I still remember the first time I heard "Plush." I've got mad respect for the DeLeo brothers.

So, speaking of good music, if you would, check out a band that I've really been digging of late:
Mike Dunn & The Kings Of New England
I can't get enough. I've been giving their "The Edge Of America" EP plenty of spins lately.
Mike describes it best himself:
"I want to make windows-down music."
Timely record for the summer, for me.

Thanks again for checking out all of the videos. I'll definitely vlog again soon. I just got a haircut yesterday, so I'm sure mom will demand it, as it's the only way she'll be able to see it. The longer your hair gets, the higher their Alert Level goes up. I've never figured that out.
